what are microgreens

Microgreens are young seedlings of edible vegetables and herbs, harvested less than 14 days after germination.

Microgreens provide more health benefits than their fully grown selves, having a concentrated nutrient content along with an aromatic flavour. Microgreens are a source of Vitamin E, C and K. They are loaded with beto carotene, phytonutrients and anti-oxidants.

Microgreens have many uses, as additions to meals, super salads, burgers, wraps, side dishes, stir fry, green smoothies, pestos (especially our peas).

THRIVE microgreens

Our micros travel very few kilometres from harvest to plate. We harvest one day and deliver the next. So our produce is super fresh. We grow indoors, using quality seed (non GMO, organic when we can), soil and water out of the tap. We don't use sprays, or fertilisers, our containers are recyclable.
